What We Do
Continuing Adventures Family Support Partners is dedicated to providing resources and support to families in need. We believe in the power of community and aim to foster connections that uplift and empower.
In a nutshell, we help Albertans to navigate available supports and systems, and we aim to fill in the gaps in our healthcare system through compassionate wraparound supports. We build custom plans to support both current and future needs for each family.
Our team's continuity of care helps take the load off families struggling to manage it all. An available companion helps to battle loneliness and the confusion of new situations and experiences.
Regular social programming ensures our clients are experiencing weekly engagement with others in their home or in their community. These activities are movement and interaction focused to foster connection and physical activity.
Our financial management team ensures each estate is organized, monitors budgets, ensures appropriate government supports are active, and simplifies and manages bill payments. We aim to offer a significant level of scam protection for our clients and their families.
Making connections for our clients in their own communities accessing their local social programs and medical services allows us to support growing physical needs. We can manage transportation and accompaniment to doctor's appointments, keeping detailed medical notes and records for families not in attendance.
Home lifestyle design includes downsizing, organizing, and managing home alterations as needs change over time.
Who We Serve
We work with Albertans 55 and better who are designing their golden years, as well as families of seniors who could use more support.
Some of our clients do not have nearby family to help them navigate local complicated medical and social systems.
Some of our families experience the caregiving crunch and are struggling to manage both their aging parents and the children they are raising simultaneously.
Often we are introduced when seniors are navigating significant changes in their home life, financial circumstances, family dynamics, mobility, and transportation needs.
We contract with families, clients, and friends who would like to fund someone's care.
